NFL STAR CHAD OCHOCINCO FINED FOR $1 by Staff
NFL superstar Chad, last name formerly Johnson, now "Ochocinco" has been
known to stir up controversy and complication on and off the football field. But, this
time, the Cincinatti Bengals star receiver went to far. The NFL is fining Ochocinco
$20,000 for taking a dollar bill onto the field during and official's review of one of his
catches.
The star athlete held the dollar in his right hand at his side but didn't give it
to the official, who motioned for him to stay away. According to Ochocinco, he was
just having fun, however, the league didn't take his joke very well at all. The NFL's
Vice President of football operations Ray Anderson sent the Cincinatti Bengal a
letter saying, "The very appearance of impropriety is not acceptable. Your conduct
was unprofessional and unbecoming an NFL player." In response to the fine, the
company that made Ochocinco's iPhone application will be donating an additional
$20,000 in the receiver's name to the Hillview Acres home for abused children in
Chino, California. The applications which sells for $4.99 allows Chad Ochocinco fans to follow the superstar wide receiver through his daily exploits in video, photos, and on Twitter.
